Welcome Toby!

Hi Redwood,

I’m Toby Doan and I’ll be very excited to join the team as a Mechanical Designer. My work is mostly related to product development here at Redwood. With my skills and experience, I hope I’ll be a good addition to the company. I really appreciate this opportunity to grow with the company and learning more during the process. Aside from that, I also have a design studio that offers design services from concept to manufacturing.

When I’m not working, I try to squeeze in time for internet surfing, gaming, and sleeping. I like traveling, exploring and sometimes enjoy long driving.

I look forward to having a great experience at Redwood and meeting you all.

Welcome Carrie!

Hi Redwood team:

My name is Carrie Chiang and I am very excited to be part of Redwood family as a purchasing manager.

I am originally from Taiwan and moved to Canada by myself in 2004. It has been a wonderful journey and I am grateful to be able to call Canada my home.

I have been working in different industries and have always had a passion for the supply chain and operations side of the business. I believe we can achieve great things together through collaboration and persistence.

During my free time, I enjoy working out, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.

I am looking forward to getting to know each one of you and having fun together.

Welcome Mike!

Mike Ely is our newest team member in Inside Sales at our Langley location! Here are a few words from Mike:

I am a very lucky father to an amazing 20 year old son who I have had the pleasure of raising on my own since he was 2 years old, by far the best friend I could ask for.

We enjoy very similar things which include vehicle detailing (we are starting a weekend business so give us a call ;), cars, music and animals (he is far more a cat person than I, unless they are over 100 pounds) and much more.

Myself, I love the riding season and hopping on my bike and taking off for the day. One day I dream that Indian Chieftain Classic will be in my driveway. I also spend a lot of time in the gym, even though Covid has done its best to stop that. I love to cook, mostly BBQ and Smoking.

Although most of my career has been in sales in different areas, I also enjoy physical labor jobs and whenever possible helping in any given situation that may arise on a job site or in a warehouse. I have been known as the guy who usually says “OK” when asked for help, even if I don’t know what it is. Definitely a team player, but never afraid to work alone and get things done.

Welcome David!

Hello Redwood, my name is Dave MacDonald and I am going to be working as a CNC Operator at the Langley location.

I’ve spent the bulk of the past decade making high end woodwind musical instruments. I have been operating and programming CNC’s for over 20 years and have worked professionally with routers, lathes and mills cutting a variety of metals, plastics and woods.

I am G-Code literate and have been known to write programs for the fun of it.

Outside of work I spend my time with my wife and preschooler, but I always find time to build and tinker with whatever electronics I can get my hands on.

I look forward to meeting everyone when I start in February!
