POSITION SUMMARY

The inside sales team works closely with our outside sales team and focuses on customer acquisition and retention. The position involves quoting, order processing, and proactive calling to existing as well as potential customers.  Product knowledge is imperative to the position as we strive to provide customers with information about all of our services as solutions to their needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Redwood Plastics and Rubber is seeking a CNC Operator to join our growing team in Woodland, WA.  The open position works 4 days/week for 10 hours/day Mon – Thu (off Fri – Sun).  Shifts begin at 3pm.

Primary responsibilities include reading and analyzing blueprints, reading G-Code, machining plastics and steel, communicating material and/or program needs, and executing quality control. Focus should be placed on collaborating with supervisors, management, and other team members to achieve company goals and KPI’s. As a CNC Operator, your actions will directly impact manufacturing and therefore the success of our team and the company.

Redwood Plastics and Rubber is seeking a CNC Operator to join our Langley Manufacturing team on day shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm; Monday to Friday). A CNC Operator is responsible for the effective operation of CNC machines, ensuring the production of high quality products.

 

The primary responsibility of this position is to use skill and experience to produce a variety of precision mechanical parts from plastics, composites and rubber materials on various CNC turning and milling machines.

In order to succeed in this position, you must be able to:

  • Set-up, Program and Operate various CNC lathes and mills
  • Read and understand blueprints, study specifications, drawings to determine the machining operation to be performed
  • Determine tooling, tool-paths, setup methods and fixtures to produce parts in most efficient manner
  • Read and interpret work orders
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances, and prepare working sketches if necessary
  • Ensures workmanship throughout the manufacturing process and on finished goods meets or exceeds the costs, quality and schedule expectations for all customers
