Redwood Plastics and Rubber is pleased to welcome Mathew Robinson and Todd McKenzie to our sales team!

Mathew has joined our Spokane, WA Regional Sales Office in a Technical Inside Sales role. He has a large breadth of experience including in aviation, mining equipment, the automotive industry, and the lumber industry. He really enjoys talking and working with people and solving problems. He’s been married to his wife Anna for 10 years and they have both a daughter and son. On his leisure time he enjoys the outdoors, hikes, working on cars, and outdoor movies. He’s a positive “glass half full” type of guy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Todd  has joined our Edmonton location as their first satellite rep. He will travel to central and eastern Canada selling our products along other complementary lines. He has a 20 year old daughter and a 17 year old son and will be celebrating 28 years of marriage with his wife shortly. In his free time fishing is his first passion, followed by hockey and hunting. Hiring A Warehouse Fabricator In Prince George!

Redwood Plastics and Rubber is excited to announce we’re offering the position of “Warehouse Fabricator” at our Prince George, BC, Canada location. The position involves basic fabrication for parts manufactured locally. We tend to do many simple parts in house such as wear strip, the drilling of U-channel, simple lugs, bushings, etc.

Skills & Experience:

• Able to read a tape measure
• Able to read and interpret drawings and general work instructions
• Able to lift 50 lbs Possesses manual dexterity, attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Able to prioritize and maintain productivity levels as specified without sacrificing safe practices.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate a table saw, drill press
• Utilize hand tools to cut plastic materials
• Production Scheduling
• Logistics – shipping & receiving co-ordination
• Inventory Management
• Perform all functions of the job safely

Hiring Office Admin – Woodland, WA

We’re excited to offer a new administrative position at our Woodland, WA location – Office Assistant.

The Office Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of clerical office duties in support of the sales, planning and manufacturing departments. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing excellent support to our sales team.  This will be a heavy data entry position with attention to detail required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data.
  • Manage Multi Line Phones – Field incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Enter job data from work orders to computer system.
  • Work closely with sales, planning and production in a support role.
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of the workflow process and support where needed.

Hiring In Langley: Fabricator/Liner Installer

Redwood Plastics and Rubber is pleased to offer a new position in our emerging installation department. The Fabricator/Liner Installer will be responsible for reading blueprints and drawings to determine both the materials needed and to create the required layouts. This individual will then be required to use a variety of tools and machinery to make the necessary cuts and other fabrication for the complete units. Travel to our client’s sites will be required and on-site travel costs, food, and lodging will be covered by the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze blueprints and engineering drawings to assess materials requirement, and plan the sequence of tasks to layout, cut and fit product.
  • Create and construct patterns and guides as templates for cutting.
  • Operate light machinery, power tools and hand tools.
  • Assemble components into complete units or sub-unit.
  • Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure final product meets quality standards.
  • Ensure products are produced to specification.
  • Accurately record time to work orders.
  • Perform all functions of the job safely.
  • Travel and onsite installation is required as needed.
  • Integral part of a team that installs industrial plastic, polyurethane or ceramic liners

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Experience in a production environment and/or with plastics is an asset
  • Experience with a table saw, drill press and hand tools is an asset however training will be provided.
  • Able to read a tape measure
  • Ceramic tile experience preferred but not required
  • Welding experiences is an asset, preferably plastic welding

New Outside Sales Rep In Spokane
