Redwood Plastics and Rubber is pleased to welcome Mathew Robinson and Todd McKenzie to our sales team!

Mathew has joined our Spokane, WA Regional Sales Office in a Technical Inside Sales role. He has a large breadth of experience including in aviation, mining equipment, the automotive industry, and the lumber industry. He really enjoys talking and working with people and solving problems. He’s been married to his wife Anna for 10 years and they have both a daughter and son. On his leisure time he enjoys the outdoors, hikes, working on cars, and outdoor movies. He’s a positive “glass half full” type of guy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Todd  has joined our Edmonton location as their first satellite rep. He will travel to central and eastern Canada selling our products along other complementary lines. He has a 20 year old daughter and a 17 year old son and will be celebrating 28 years of marriage with his wife shortly. In his free time fishing is his first passion, followed by hockey and hunting. Hiring Office Admin – Woodland, WA

The Office Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of clerical office duties in support of the sales, planning and manufacturing departments. Hiring In Langley: Fabricator/Liner Installer

Redwood Plastics and Rubber is pleased to offer a new position in our emerging installation department. The Fabricator/Liner Installer will be responsible for reading blueprints and drawings to determine both the materials needed and to create the required layouts. This individual will then be required to use a variety of tools and machinery to make the necessary cuts and other fabrication for the complete units. Travel to our client’s sites will be required and on-site travel costs, food, and lodging will be covered by the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze blueprints and engineering drawings to assess materials requirement, and plan the sequence of tasks to layout, cut and fit product.
  • Create and construct patterns and guides as templates for cutting.
  • Operate light machinery, power tools and hand tools.
  • Assemble components into complete units or sub-unit.
  • Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure final product meets quality standards.
  • Ensure products are produced to specification.
  • Accurately record time to work orders.
  • Perform all functions of the job safely.
  • Travel and onsite installation is required as needed.
  • Integral part of a team that installs industrial plastic, polyurethane or ceramic liners

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Experience in a production environment and/or with plastics is an asset
  • Experience with a table saw, drill press and hand tools is an asset however training will be provided.
  • Able to read a tape measure
  • Ceramic tile experience preferred but not required
  • Welding experiences is an asset, preferably plastic welding
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills

New Outside Sales Rep In Spokane

INSIDE SALES – SPOKANE, WA

The Inside Sales Department works cooperatively with our outside sales team, Manufacturing Planning Department, Logistics Department, and other departments of our company to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales budgets at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction.

• Utilize relationship selling/customer focused selling techniques by working closely with customers to solve their problems, increase their profits and/or increase their productivity
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely matter
• Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions based on cost, availability, or specifications to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability

Marketing Department Welcomes Devon Masters!

Redwood Plastics and Rubber is pleased to announce the hiring of Devon Masters who joins the marketing department based out of our Langley, BC location. Devon is our newest “Business Development” representative.

Devon comes to us after spending a few years with Applied Industrial, a company involved in similar industries as Redwood. Devon grew up in Delta, BC from Burns View Secondary. He is both an avid fan of playing sports like hockey, as well as watching both the NHL and NFL. He’s a gamer who enjoys PC and Playstation 4 games as well as a movies from a variety of genres. He enjoys spending his weekend at Cultus Lake during the spring/summer months.

Eileen is a New Jersey native and fills a long-vacant territory that really needed representation. Eileen has an extensive sales background including working with MSC Industrial supply and selling industrial hoses. In her spare time she enjoys adventures with her dog Maggie and husband, Nick.
