In this position, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in implementing our products into various types of applications in the Surrey, Richmond, New Westminster,
and the Tri Cities area
Maintaining profitable revenue growth through established customers and generating new opportunities by finding new customers
Communicating effectively as a team player with your inside sales team so your customers receive fast and superior service
Making on-site sales visits to connect with customers
Effective sales reporting in a CRM system to management team
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum two years of successful outside sales experience
Established customer relationships
Able to effectively assess customer needs, present products and solutions, and close sales
Proven ability to independently develop new business, build repeat business and manage a sales territory
Ability to establish relationships at all levels within customer and prospect organizations
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to self-start and work independently
Proficiency with personal computers, Internet, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products
Reliable transportation (car allowance, expenses for travel is provided)

Paul has a wide range of industrial experience which will be beneficial to his efforts with Redwood. He was a production Supervisor for Nucor-Yamato Steel, Assistant Manager for Fastenal and a commercial territory sales representative for Spec Building Materials. Paul is well-versed in industrial sales and distribution. Paul will be based in Little Rock, Arkansas and will be responsible for building our business in Arkansas, Louisiana and Eastern Texas. Paul has already started building contacts in the Arkansas sawmill industry.
Redwood Plastics’ Vancouver branch is very pleased to welcome Soraya Rafaty aboard. Soraya will undertake a unqiue position within the branch, being both a fully-trained inside technical sales representative as well as doing proactive lead generation for Vancouver’s outside reps.
Soraya received her Bachelor Degree from La Martinière Duchère Lyon, France and also studied Civil Law at the University Lumière Lyon, France. While in France she worked with large firms as a sales assistant, product manager and in export sales.
In Canada she worked for a federal government organization that promotes the participation of women in the Canadian economy and also with a leading supplier to food manufacturers as a bilingual sales coordinator.
Soraya also has a multilingual background and is fluent in 5 languages: French, English, German, Persian and Hindi.

Works with a CRM system
Works in partnership with an outside salesperson
Performs follow-up to ensure timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction.
Resolves customer service issues. Tracks open sales orders.
Maintains strong working relationships with vendors.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum two years of successful inside sales experience
Industrial background an asset but not required
Able to effectively assist with customer needs based upon application
Ability to establish relationships at all levels within customer and prospect organizations.
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency with computers
