Promotion Alert! Jared Doppenberg

Redwood Plastics’ Langley, BC location is proud to announce the promotion of Jared Doppenberg to Inside Sales Representative. Jared has followed the path of being a fabricator for five years of his career, 2-1/2 of those spent with Redwood. Jared has proven to be more than just a fabricator: he has a passion for his work, for being honest, hardworking, and going above and beyond his duties. He is sensitive to the needs of his coworkers and we’re sure that will translate to outstanding customer service in his new role dealing with our valuable customers!

In his downtime Jared has some interesting hobbies. He enjoys working on his import Toyota (extra powerful engines and right seat drive) or flying his growing collection of drones. His musical choice is Funk but at least “it’s not country”.

Soraya Climbs Aboard!

Redwood Plastics’ Vancouver branch is very pleased to welcome Soraya Rafaty aboard. Soraya will undertake a unqiue position within the branch, being both a fully-trained inside technical sales representative as well as doing proactive lead generation for Vancouver’s outside reps.

Soraya received her Bachelor Degree from La Martinière Duchère Lyon, France and also studied Civil Law at the University Lumière Lyon, France. While in France she worked with large firms as a sales assistant, product manager and in export sales.

In Canada she worked for a federal government organization that promotes the participation of women in the Canadian economy and also with a leading supplier to food manufacturers as a bilingual sales coordinator.

Soraya also has a multilingual background and is fluent in 5 languages: French, English, German, Persian and Hindi.

Qualifications and Experience:

Favorite Food: Not allowed to eat favorite foods anymore, so forgot.

Favorite Pastime: Starting home improvement projects, and not finishing them, just to tick off Jo (see above). Also, watching the Make Beliefs on the telly…

I’m most proud of: See above… infinitum… also, managing to survive dreadful start of 2009 and come back stronger!

My prized possession is: Anything with Leafs logo, and his Saskatchewan Roughies coffee cup.

Recent vacation was to: Besides Abbotsford Hospital? That would be Vegas, baybee… Yah!

Favorite vacation spot is: Not Abbotsford Hospital… definitely.  Anywhere on Vancouver Island.
