The material picker is responsible for the prompt and accurate selection and delivery of materials to the requesting department. This position is responsible for inventory material handling. This position is for our afternoon shift – 2:00 pm to 12:30 am, Monday to Thursday.


  • Read work orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to requesting department or too other designated areas.
  • Move materials throughout the plant as requested

Redwood Plastics and Rubber is seeking a Shipper to join our warehousing team. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving and other tasks related to the transportation and handling of goods.

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ship product to customers domestically and internationally. Shipment quantities vary day by day based on productions capacity.
  • Coordinate carriers for inbound and outbound freight.
  • Deal with imports and exports shipped to and from the company; work with customs officials to ensure compliance.
  • Work with the warehousing team to minimize shortages and improve inventory holdings.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
  • Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking of shipped and received product.
  • Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete.
  • Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required.
  • Study shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
  • Operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
  • Perform all functions of the job safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of direct work experience in shipping, and logistics.
  • Experience in warehousing, inventory control, and/or transportation management.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in working with third-party logistics providers.

Title: Warehouse Supervisor                                                                                         Location: Langley, BC

Reports to: Production Manager


Due to growth at our Vancouver Head Office we are adding to our leadership team. We’re looking for the best and brightest to take our Warehouse department to the next level.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the day-to-day activities of all Warehouse activities and leading the team of 4 – 6 employees in the following work areas: Picking, Packing, Receiving, Shipping, Returns, Inventory Control and Documentation.

The Warehouse, is a fast-paced environment that sees over 1,000 unique orders shipped directly and via intercompany transfer per month. It includes managing care and control over $3m worth of inventory in both stock shapes and finished parts.

  • Manages department budget spending to target goals.
  • Responsible to ensure over 1,000 orders per month are shipped both directly to customers and to our other North American divisions with 100% accuracy
  • Managing physical control of $3M+ inventory that includes over 2,000 stock items with the expectation that it is accurately tracked
  • Works with all other departments including manufacturing, operations, purchasing, sales, to ensure our customer expectations are being met.
  • Responsible for contributing to and executing on the department operational plan.
  • Freight Scheduling and Logistics including parcel, LTL, Container Shipments, receiving, restock, inter-company transfers).
  • Asset management including safety, maintenance scheduling, training and safe operation of Forklifts, Pickers and other equipment within department.
  • Responsible and Accountable for the physical management, receipt, movement, storage, and cycle counting of all distribution inventory and warehouse stock including pick-and pack activities and FIFO activities.
  • Monitor, Collect, Report and Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) that ensure the objectives of the department are being met.
  • Accountable and Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized yard, including all yard activities such as truck-access, truck staging, loading & unloading and product staging.
  • Coordinating and organizing the flow of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Spend time daily and weekly working hands-on in all work-areas to observe non-conformances, efficiencies, and encourage high productivity as well as heling with the workload.


  • 5-8 years’ leadership experience in a warehouse environment or similar
  • 4-year college degree in is an asset
  • Create, implement and execute lean methodology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to lead and maintain a safe, efficient and clean work environment

Estimator creates detailed cost estimates and proposals and coordinates order related production processes including, scheduling, design, quality, and material selection. The Estimator’s efforts will increase quote-to-order conversion through quote follow-up and analysis.


  • Quick and accurate cost estimates
  • Apply rules and methods provided by manufacturing to cost estimates and develop accurate work orders
  • Review and interpret engineering and construction drawings and specifications in conjunction with customer RFQs in order to determine project scope.
  • Perform quote follow up and analysis.

Title: Accounts Receivable & Accounting Department Support

Reports to:  Finance Manager


We have an opening for an Accounts Receivable and General Support person in our head office/finance department.

This role will be part of the AR team for our group of companies and as well, provide general support for various areas of a very busy accounting department.

This will suit a natural born “helper” who is not opposed to tackling a task regardless of how big or small.


  • AR customer account reconciliation, deposit posting and collections – both by phone and email

Hiring In Langley: Fabricator/Liner Installer

Redwood Plastics and Rubber is pleased to offer a new position in our emerging installation department. The Fabricator/Liner Installer will be responsible for reading blueprints and drawings to determine both the materials needed and to create the required layouts. This individual will then be required to use a variety of tools and machinery to make the necessary cuts and other fabrication for the complete units. Travel to our client’s sites will be required and on-site travel costs, food, and lodging will be covered by the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze blueprints and engineering drawings to assess materials requirement, and plan the sequence of tasks to layout, cut and fit product.
  • Create and construct patterns and guides as templates for cutting.
  • Operate light machinery, power tools and hand tools.
  • Assemble components into complete units or sub-unit.
  • Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure final product meets quality standards.
  • Ensure products are produced to specification.
  • Accurately record time to work orders.
  • Perform all functions of the job safely.
  • Travel and onsite installation is required as needed.
  • Integral part of a team that installs industrial plastic, polyurethane or ceramic liners

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Experience in a production environment and/or with plastics is an asset
